Mesa Police Investigate Reported Gun Threat During Neighbor Dispute

Mesa Police officers responded to an apartment complex near 8th Avenue and Country Club Drive around 9 p.m. Friday following a reported neighbor dispute in which a weapon was allegedly used to threaten one of the neighbors.

According to Mesa Police, officers arrived at the complex and contacted all participants involved in the dispute, including the person who allegedly had a gun. Police said everyone involved is currently with officers.

The circumstances surrounding the reported threat remain under investigation. Police have not indicated whether anyone was injured or whether charges will be filed.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information may be released as detectives determine what happened.
