First Alarm House Fire Sends Heavy Flames Through Roof in Mesa

Mesa Fire & Medical crews battled a first alarm house fire near N. Forest & E. Fairfield St., close to Brown and Gilbert roads.

. Heavy smoke and flames were visible through the roof upon firefighters' arrival, forcing crews into a defensive attack.

Two ladder trucks were deployed to conduct aerial master stream operations as firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, and no injuries have been reported at this time.
